The themes of our times are "Made in Japan" and "Ready to Eat." We aspire to become a food company that excels in frozen processing technology.
They started our journey in 1980 by manufacturing and selling squid products with the motto of "Bringing Deliciousness from Ofunato to the Whole Nation." Over the years, they have expanded our product range, operating two manufacturing facilities, and delivering products like fried items, karaage (Japanese-style fried chicken), and products with coatings to major food manufacturers and cooperatives.
As the demand for "ready-to-eat" processed foods, which require no cooking, continues to rise, they have installed a fully automated frying line at their new head office factory, completed in 2014 after the earthquake.
This line allows them to achieve complete oil frying, and they produce products like pumpkin and burdock from Hokkaido and Iwate, all prepared using local ingredients.
In 2019, they embarked on a new challenge by constructing a plant to extract fish oil from Okiami, a type of krill found in Sanriku. With a focus on "domestic processing," they are entering new territories armed with their commitment to quality.
